Automated Garage Doors

Abacus can offer a wide range of operators for up and over or sectional doors with a smooth and quiet operation enhanced by soft stop and soft start.

We can easily convert your existing canopy (up and over) door with a simple bow arm attachment to turn them into electric garage doors.

For an additional touch of luxury automated garage doors can be supplied or upgraded to remote control electric operation allowing you to open your door from the comfort of your car.

Roller Doors

Roller doors vertical opening action is ideal if you park a second vehicle on the drive. The door moves straight up and down allowing you to park right up to it. Inside this means that overhead storage remains accessible when the door is open and wall space right up to the door can be utilised.

Effortless opening manually or add an electrical operator with remote control for convenience. Fits garage openings of all shapes and sizes, made to ISO 9001 quality standard. Available in a choice of twelve low maintenance colour finishes.

Thermaglide doors feature sound and thermal insulation. Interlocking twin walled aluminum sections contain a CFC-Free insulation foam so your garage can be used as an extra room.

GRP Garage Doors

If you like the beauty of natural timber but don't want the maintenance that timber can require, a glass reinforced polyester (GRP) door could be the answer.

GRP garage doors offer a very high quality finish on a strong integral galvanised steel frame. Each door is individually hand crafted and is available in canopy or retractable door gear.

Available in a range of colours and styles, from ultra smooth high white gloss to woodgrain finishes. Most styles are available glazed or unglazed.

Up and Over Garage Doors

The traditional and popular style of up and over garage doors can be made in timber, steel or from low maintenance glass reinforced polyester.

Sectional Doors

Sectional doors, as the name implies, are made up made up from separate sections rather than single panels. This allows for exceptionally smooth operation, both manually and when electrically operated.

Sectional doors have many other advantages over traditional up and over doors such as maximising the drive through width of a garage opening, allowing for closer parking inside and out, and giving greater headroom clearance to accommodate vehicles such as 4x4's and MPV's.

Wooden Garage Doors

For some customers there is no substitute for timber. They insist on traditional values of craftsmanship and natural materials. It has warmth and character but is also sturdy and durable.

All wooden garage doors are supported with a rigid brown powder coated galvanized steel chassis. And area available in a number of styles and finishes.

They are made using traditional methods of construction with high grade exterior quality plywood, or from tongue and groove solid Cedar boards. Also available glazed in many different styles.

Side Hinged Doors

Traditional side hinged doors combine robust and reliable performance with simple personal access.

Abacus can supply side hinge doors with 50/50 split, or 2/3-1/3 access, either left or right handed and most styles and designs.

Side hinge doors are available in Steel, Timber or GRP. Sizes from 5ft 9in to 10ft wide and from 6ft to 7ft 6in high depending on styles.
